Enroll

Welcome to TKG! For over 10 years, we offered a different experience in elementary-aged education.

As of September 2023, TKG will not be enrolling new students. We hope to have new offerings in the future but for now, we’re taking a pause and a much-needed break.

It’s a collaborative and interactive approach to school for people who want to be empowered by learning through relationship with self, others, and the environment. Our goal is to support students that are healthy and empowered. We encourage cooperation to learn, solve our problems, and thrive.

We offer personalized learning – inspired by homeschooling and guided by a professional teacher. Families have options for full days, 1/2 days, academic or enrichment experiences.

School begins at 9am and the focus is personalized reading, writing, & maths incorporating social sciences, art, science, health & social justice. Our enrichment starts at noon and infuses hands-on learning such as passion projects and STEM. The majority of our day is outdoors.

HOW IT WORKS

TKG is an elementary school. By enrolling as a full-time or academic focus student, we will ensure that you are progressing toward your academic goals within the context of a curriculum. We offer a personalized curriculum that is provided by us, or by you – and the tuition reflects that. We work with your student’s homeschool curriculum materials and/or provide curriculum through a variety of resources including Oak Meadow, Singapore Math, Reading A-Z, The Daily Cafe, and The Responsive Classroom. If you are already enrolled in an academic or homeschool program and would like to enrich your learning, we offer hands-on learning that includes Art, Ecology, Social Studies, STEM learning, and Passion Projects incorporating social-emotional & growth mindset elements.
